Notes from the Hard Road and Beyond

Tim was fortunate enough to be a member of The Black Arm Band that played with some amazing artists in the "Notes from the Hard Road and Beyond" show at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. It brought together some fine performers for a night of protest songs. Gospel icon Mavis Staples, Joss Stone, Emmanuel Jal, Rickie-Lee Jones, along with Australian artists Archie Roach, Paul Dempsey, Shane Howard, just to name a few... Listen out for the sounds of the soaring Hammond. See video below a highlight for Tim playing with the legend Mavis Staples.

Gospel icon Mavis Staples performs Freedom Highway, a Staples Singers hit that would become an anthem of Martin Luther King’s civil rights movement. Hear the Hammond B3 soar.

Joss Stone performs People Get Ready with the Black Arm Band
